Minimum PC Requirements
WindSim 5 runs on Microsoft Windows 7, Vista, XP, Server 2003, and Server 2008 (32-bit & 64-bit versions in all cases). 3D Visualizations do not require-but will render best-with graphics cards that support OpenGL.
The Ultimate Combination
To provide you with the best results possible we have recommended the most powerful combination/PC:
- 64bit Windows
- More than 3 Ghz Processor
- 3GB of RAM per core
- Shared memory
This combination is not a necessity in order to run WindSim, but a "bigger" model will give you extra power to run your simulations!
Microsoft .NET Framework 4
WindSim 5 requires the Microsoft .NET Framework 4. Please install it before you begin your WindSim installation if it is not already installed on your computer. Get the Microsoft .NET Framework 4 here.
